Saudi Arabia's Annual Construction Costs Climb 2.2% in September

02:09 AM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Saudi Arabia's construction cost index rose 2.2% year over year in September, after a 2.3% increase a month earlier, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics released Thursday. The latest increase was largely attributed to higher construction costs in the residential and non-residential sectors. On a monthly basis, construction costs in the kingdom were unchanged, against the prior 0.1% growth.
