The Zhitong Finance App learned that on Wednesday, Netflix (NFLX.US) fell more than 4% to $65.77. According to the news, on October 20, local time, the US streaming media company Netflix (NFLX.US) announced financial results for the third quarter of 2026. The financial report showed that the company's revenue was US$12.874 billion, up 11.8% year on year, in line with previous expectations; net profit was US$3.664 billion, up about 44% year on year.

However, the company expects revenue for the fourth quarter to be US$13.442 billion, and the year-on-year revenue growth rate will drop further to 11.5%, slowing for the fourth consecutive quarter; net profit for the fourth quarter is expected to be US$2,787 million. The company also lowered its 2026 advertising revenue forecast from about 3 billion US dollars to 2.7 billion US dollars because the launch of some advertising product features was slower than expected, which also heightened market concerns.
