Nvidia plans to increase the production capacity of packaging substrates for its products by 2.5 times over the next three years. The target production capacity of the plant has been increased to 3 times the current level, and the additional production capacity is expected to gradually climb a slope and be put into operation in the first quarter of 2028. Samsung Electric has officially joined Nvidia's packaging substrate supply chain, and can rely on existing factories in Korea to immediately supply production capacity; cooperation also supports the upgrading of production lines and construction of new plants at its Sejong and Busan plants. By 2028, the production capacity allocated to Nvidia will account for a significant share of Samsung Electric's total annual packaging substrate production capacity. Xinxing Electronics: Nvidia and Xinxing signed a capacity reservation agreement to support the expansion of its KF substrate production line in Taiwan. The additional production capacity is expected to be gradually released in the second quarter of 2027, and full production will be achieved by mid-2028.
