Changfei Optical Fiber Cable (06869) received a net purchase of HK$252 million. According to TrendForce Jibang Consulting's latest communications industry research, as AI data centers, cross-data center interconnection, and high-capacity backbone network construction drive fiber demand, it is estimated that the global optical fiber supply and demand gap will reach 180 million core kilometers in 2026, and supply contraction will drive the spot price of finished optical fiber products to increase 2.8 to 5 times more per year.
CNOOC (00883) received a net purchase of HK$172 million. Ping An Securities pointed out that there is still great uncertainty about the US-Iran conflict. The security situation in the Strait of Hormuz has deteriorated, and the probability that the US will launch a new round of military strikes against Iran is rising; the situation in Yemen is spiraling. The Saudi coalition forces launch frequent air strikes on many parts of Yemen, and the Houthis continue to attack airports and oil facilities in Saudi Arabia. The situation in Yemen is difficult to slow down in the short term. Therefore, we believe that geographical risks still have strong support for international oil prices at this stage.

Kingsley Biotech recently announced that LEGENDARY BIOTECH disclosed that CARVYKTI's net trade sales in Q3 were approximately US$710 million. Tencent (00700) had a net sale of HK$1,705 billion. Haitong Securities released a research report stating that Tencent's adjusted operating profit for the third quarter is predicted to drop 5% year-on-year. The bank pointed out that AI is still Tencent's strategic investment focus, and short-term depreciation will still drag down financial performance, but Tencent favors disciplined deployment rather than automatically speeding up spending quarterly. The bank slightly lowered its target price by 2% to HK$470 to reflect the lower earnings per share forecast and maintain the “better than the market” rating.
