04:13 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ponsse (PON1V.HE) will hold change negotiations with all 1,109 of its Finland-based employees on Tuesday to discuss production adjustments amid a weaker market and declining profitability. The talks will cover the forest machine manufacturer's operations in Vieremä, Finland, and will involve potential temporary layoffs of production staff, other factory workers, and salaried employees, according to a same-day release. The proposed temporary part-time or full-time workforce reductions may take place for a maximum of 90 days in 2027. Ponsse added that the negotiations do not include redundancies or its subsidiary, Epec.
