Swiss Watch Exports Climb 11.7% in September

03:02 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Switzerland's watch exports rose 11.7% year over year to 2.23 billion francs in September, driven by double-digit increases in steel watches and bimetallic models, the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry said Tuesday. Exports of wristwatches grew 11.6%, while the other products category jumped 12.9%. In the first nine months of 2026, overseas shipments edged up 2.7% to 19.5 billion francs.
