05:05 AM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- TheraCryf (TCF.L) completed the regulatory toxicology studies for its lead orexin-1 (Ox-1) receptor antagonist program, paving the way for its first human phase 1 clinical trial in Australia. The clinical-stage therapeutics company said Monday the 28-day studies in two species showed that Ox-1 was well tolerated, with no adverse findings at any dose tested. The highest dose was 70 times the anticipated human therapeutic dose. TheraCryf expects to submit its clinical trial application in November and is targeting the necessary approvals by Dec. 31. Its Australian subsidiary appointed Avance Clinical to support preparations for ethics review and clinical trial notification.
