Rosenblatt’s senior analyst John McPeake believes the recent pullback in Nebius (NBIS) stock has created a buying opportunity for long-term investors. McPeake initiated NBIS this week with a “Buy” rating and a bullish $304 price objective, indicating potential upside of nearly 65% from current levels.
Despite recent weakness, Nebius shares remain a lucrative investment for 2026, currently trading at more than 2x their price at the start of this year.
McPeake places Nebius among the leading providers of specialized cloud infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI), alongside CoreWeave (CRWV).
Its bullish thesis centers on the company’s ability to turn a substantial power pipeline into revenue-producing computing capacity. Nebius has 3.5 gigawatts of contracted power — with roughly 75% expected to become operational through wholly owned sites. This would help revenue grow at a compound annual rate of 98% through the end of this decade, the analyst told clients.
That said, options traders seem to disagree with Rosenblatt on NBIS stock. According to Barchart, the put-to-call ratio on options contracts expiring late Nov. 20 sits at 1.18x, indicating a bearish skew, with the lower price calling for a decline of nearly 19% to roughly $219 over the next five weeks.
McPeake’s price target rests on a 10-year discounted cash flow model, using a 12% discount rate and a terminal valuation of 12x free cash flow.
That approach values NBIS on the cash its expanding artificial intelligence infrastructure could eventually generate, rather than relying solely on near-term earnings.
Importantly, the bullish assessment also acknowledges financing demands. The Rosenblatt analyst expects additional debt or equity issuance to support expansion, even after the company completed a $5.75 billion convertible debt transaction in August.
From a technical perspective, however, Nebius shares are currently trading below their key moving averages (MAs), with an RSI in the early 30s indicating significant selling pressure.
Wall Street analysts recommend long-term investors look beyond the near-term technical setup.
The consensus rating on NBIS shares remains “Moderate Buy,” with a mean price target of about $288 suggesting nearly 60% upside from here.
