It has surpassed Wall Street's bottom-line estimates in each of the past four quarters.

Cboe Global Markets shares rose 4.6% on Jul. 31 after the company reported stronger-than-expected Q2 2026 results, with adjusted EPS reaching $3.56, up from $2.46 a year earlier, and total net revenue surged 25% to a record $731.6 million. The results were driven by heightened market volatility linked to the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran and shifting sentiment around AI investments, which boosted options trading activity, lifting options-trading net revenue 30% to $473.9 million and total average daily trading volumes 26%; U.S. options exchanges also recorded a single-day record of 33.4 million contracts on June 5.

Investor sentiment was further supported by Cboe raising its full-year organic net revenue growth outlook to the mid-to-high teens from its previous low-double-digit-to-mid-teens forecast, alongside increased retail participation.

Analysts' consensus view on CBOE stock is cautious, with a "Hold" rating overall. Among 19 analysts covering the stock, five recommend "Strong Buy," 12 suggest "Hold," and two indicate “Strong Sell.” This configuration is more bullish than three months ago, with three analysts suggesting a "Strong Buy."

The average analyst price target of $316.19 is a premium of 5.2% to current levels.
