Eurozone Monthly Industrial Production Down 0.5% in August

05:14 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The euro area's industrial production declined 0.5% month over month in August, after a revised 0.3% decrease in July, Eurostat data showed Thursday. Analysts expected zero growth for the month. On a yearly basis, industrial production recorded a 1.1% fall, compared with the revised 0.3% decline earlier and the expected 0.1% downtick.
