According to Zhitong Finance App, China Hongguang (08646) issued an announcement regarding the signing of a joint venture agreement with Dream Buddha Resources Group Co., Ltd. of the United States and Dongguan Yanguang Technology Co., Ltd. to jointly establish a joint venture Hongmeng Core Material (Shenzhen) Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. (Hongmeng Core Material (Shenzhen), a joint venture). Following the completion of the joint venture registration in Shenzhen, Hongmeng Core Materials (Shenzhen) Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. Wuhan Branch (Wuhan Branch) officially completed industrial and commercial registration and obtained a business license on October 13, 2026, marking the official settlement of the TGV glass substrate industrialization base (Wuhan base) in Wuhan Optics Valley.

The registered address of the Wuhan branch is located at No. 1-2-5, West Area, Plant No. 5, Optics Valley Industrial Park, No. 62, Huashiyuan Road, Wuhan Donghu New Technology Development Zone (Optics Valley), Hubei Province. As a joint venture TGV glass substrate industrialization production base, it will fully undertake core functions such as technology research and development, pilot line construction, mass production and manufacturing, and central China regional industrial supply chain docking.

The core business of the Wuhan branch covers: TGV glass substrates, FPC flexible circuit boards, optical communication precision parts. The products target the AI advanced packaging industry chain and provide key glass-based material solutions for advanced packaging.

In order to accelerate the implementation of the technical team and the advancement of industrialization, the joint venture officially appointed Professor Hu Bing of the Wuhan Branch as the technical director of the Wuhan branch and the general manager of the Wuhan branch. He is fully responsible for the technical route, R&D team construction, pilot test and mass production process development of the Wuhan base, and relies on the scientific research strength of Huazhong University of Science and Technology to promote the transformation of TGV glass materials from laboratory results to industrialization.

The board of directors said that the selection of Wuhan Optics Valley as the TGV glass substrate industrialization base is mainly based on the following factors: 1. Optics Valley is a core cluster for advanced manufacturing of optoelectronics and semiconductors in China, with a collaborative foundation for upstream and downstream industries; 2. University human resources: Close to key universities such as Huazhong University of Science and Technology to continuously transport engineering and scientific research talents in the fields of semiconductor materials and precision manufacturing; 3. Mature supporting supply chain: Central China has supporting industrial resources such as glass deep processing, precision processing, and surface treatment; 4. Local Industrial policy support: The Wuhan Donghu New Technology Development Zone provides industrial support policies for the fields of new semiconductor materials and advanced packaging, which is suitable for the launch of pilot lines of new semiconductor materials and subsequent mass production expansion.

After the registration of the Wuhan branch is completed, the key tasks in the next phase include plant transformation, pilot production line design, equipment procurement and entry, process verification, supplier development, and gradually promote pilot testing and small-batch trial production of TGV glass substrates. The board of directors will continue to follow up on the progress of the construction of the Wuhan base and make timely disclosures when there are significant developments.
