03:37 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- International Public Partnerships (INPP.L) expects to reach financial close for the Moray West Offshore Transmission project in December 2026, following a regulatory step by the UK's energy regulator, Ofgem. The infrastructure investment company plans to invest 68 million pounds sterling upon financial close and expects double-digit, inflation-protected returns, according to a Thursday filing. The project is expected to generate availability-based revenues linked to the UK Consumer Price Index over 23.5 years. The company will tap a combination of realization proceeds, surplus cash and short-term corporate debt to fund the project. The project comprises the offshore electricity transmission assets connecting the Moray West wind farm in the Moray Firth off the coast of Scotland to the electricity grid.
