01:37 AM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nidhogg Resources Holding (NIDHOG.ST) affiliate Big Rock Mineral filed an appeal with the Supreme Administrative Court against court rulings on extending the validity period of exploration permits Vintjärn and Kölen no. 6 in Falun Municipality, Sweden, according to a Tuesday release. The Administrative Court in Luleå in August rejected Big Rock Mineral's request to extend the permits' validity. The ruling was appealed in the Administrative Court of Appeal in Sundsvall, which rejected the appeal and upheld the ruling. The appeal against the rulings was filed in consultation with natural resources company Nidhogg, and the permits remain valid while the appeal is being considered. The permits are held by Big Rock Mineral, in which Nidhogg owns a 10% stake and has the option, through an earn-in agreement with Big Rock Energy, to increase its ownership to 100%.
