Swisscom Wins Appeal Against CHF18 Million Fine Over Fiber Rollout

The ruling overturned the Competition Commission's 2023 decision that Swisscom had abused its market dominance, including the 18 million-franc fine imposed on the telecommunications company. The Federal Administrative Court upheld that Swisscom's original point-to-multipoint design for its fiber rollout did not infringe competition law. The judgment is subject to appeal before the Federal Court.
