Recently, the Guangdong Key Laboratory of Low-Altitude Intelligent Sensing and Navigation Safety was officially listed at Shenzhen University of Technology, and the Laboratory Technical Research Committee and Achievement Transformation Committee were established at the same time. Led by Shenzhen University of Technology, the laboratory was jointly built by Guangzhou University, Guangdong Meteorological Data Center, Shenzhen Jiaotong Technology Group Co., Ltd., and Fengyi Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., to bring together the innovative forces of universities, research institutes, and leading enterprises to target the core problems of low-altitude navigation safety and help the high-quality development of the low-altitude economy industry in Guangdong Province. According to reports, the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Low-Altitude Intelligent Sensing and Navigation Safety targets the safety technology requirements brought about by the rapid development of low-altitude aircraft such as drones and eVTOLs, and is committed to achieving “clear visibility, accurate judgment, reasonable routes, and safe operation” of low-altitude flight.
