08:35 AM EDT, 10/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The Tadawul All Share Index closed the Tuesday trading session 0.33% higher as investors await China's latest inflation print, as well as export and import data due later in the day. "In China, data will be released on trade and inflation overnight. On the trade front, exports are expected to show continued strength. External shipments have been a strong growth engine rising around 25% y/y in value terms for some months boosted by exports of chips, electronics and autos." Danske Bank said in a note. "PPI inflation for September is set to rise further to above 4% from 3.8% y/y in August also lifted by price increases on microchips and commodities. CPI inflation is expected to rise from 0.8% y/y to 1.0% y/y but mainly due to the higher input cost pressures, not stronger consumer demand." In international news, Russia launched airstrikes that targeted Ukraine on Monday. The attacks came after US President Donald Trump previously disclosed an energy ceasefire deal between the two countries. Back at home, the International Monetary Fund lowered its economic growth forecast for Saudi Arabia. The group expects the kingdom's 2026 gross domestic product to contract by 3.3%. However, the fund expects the kingdom's GDP to recover in 2027, with a projected rise of 7.9%. On the corporate front, Jarir Marketing (SASE:4190) shares rose 8.18% as it logged a 15.11% increase in attributable profit and a 7.81% rise in revenue for the third quarter. Saudi Steel Pipe Co. (SASE:1320) secured a 12-month deal to deliver oil and gas steel pipes to oil giant Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (SASE:2222), d/b/a Saudi Aramco. Saudi Steel Pipe and Aramco closed 5.07% and 0.08% in the green, respectively.
