Solvonis Therapeutics Enters MoU to Explore Expansion of Alcohol Use Disorder Trial in Portugal

04:21 AM EDT, 10/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Solvonis Therapeutics (SVNS.L) signed a memorandum of understanding with Portugal's addiction institute ICAD and clinical partner Panegreen to assess adding Portuguese sites to MORE-KARE, the UK Phase 3 trial of SVN-001 for severe alcohol use disorder. The late-stage clinical biopharmaceutical company said Tuesday the initial six-month, non-binding MoU will explore how Portuguese services and clinical facilities could support the trial and the potential inclusion of Portuguese patients to strengthen the evidence base for future marketing applications.
