Among relatively new listings on the stock exchange, Securitize (SECZ) seems interesting. The reason being the claim of being the first publicly listed tokenization platform. As a pure-play tokenization firm, Securitize seems to be grabbing investor attention.
At the same time, some initial business developments are positive. On Oct. 8, the company announced that it was launching blockchain-based tokenized stock trading. This brings the “most widely held U.S. equities onchain for eligible investors in the United States, European Union (EU), and other permitted jurisdictions worldwide.” It’s important to note that the tokekenization platform's securitized stocks are backed 1:1 by underlying shares. With security entitlements to shares of Apple (AAPL), Tesla (TSLA), Alphabet (GOOG) (GOOGL), Amazon (AMZN), and many others, the tokenization effort is likely to support the company’s growth.
In October 2026, Securitize also announced a partnership with LG CNS for the advancement and development of tokenized assets and digital asset infrastructure in the Korean financial market. In September 2026, a similar MOU was signed for the advancement of tokenized assets in Dubai. Therefore, with an aggressive approach towards global expansion and a wide addressable market, Securitize seems well positioned to benefit.

It’s still early days of listing for SECZ stock, and it has seen quite a lot of volatility recently. However, despite today's decline, it has still seen a rally of 43% in the past month. The bullish trend is primarily anticipating healthy growth in a big addressable market for tokenization.
The tokenized asset market has significant headroom for growth over the next decade. To put things into perspective, the market potential for tokenization is expected to be for assets worth $30 trillion by 2034. A relatively conservative estimate by BCG pegs the tokenization potential at $19 trillion by 2033. This includes asset classes such as equities, fixed income, funds, real estate, derivatives, stablecoins, and more.
For Securitize, the focus is on deepening presence in the crypto market. At the same time, the company plans expansion into tokenization in equities, money markets, and fixed income. It’s worth noting that Securitize added $1 billion in tokenized assets in Q2. This is reflective of the growth acceleration, and as transaction volumes swell, Securitize is expected to benefit. In Q2, transaction volumes increased by 147% on a YoY basis.
Securitize entered Q3 with $350 million in cash and a zero-debt balance sheet. This provides ample flexibility to invest in growth. On the flip side, Securitize reported negative adjusted EBITDA for the first half of 2026. The company has indicated that an important near-term goal is to achieve positive EBITDA. Once margins expand, transaction volumes swell, and growth accelerates, SECZ stock is poised for further upside.
