07:43 AM EDT, 10/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BofA Global Research revised its price objective and estimates for LVMH Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton (MC.PA) ahead of the company's third-quarter revenue update set to be released after market on Monday. The research firm expects the French luxury goods group's organic revenue to come in at 18.49 billion euros, up 0.6% year over year at constant currency but 0.8% lower than the Visible Alpha consensus, according to the research firm's luxury sector-focused report published the same day. "We forecast Fashion & Leather Goods revenues to decline 4% cFX in 3Q26E, representing a 5ppt deceleration vs +1% growth in 2Q26. We see signs of a slowdown in all regions, as per our September issue report. We model 4Q26 F&L revenues -2%," analysts said, lowering the price objective to 520 euros from 640 euros. Looking ahead, BofA bumped down its full-year 2026 revenue forecast by 0.2%, while the estimate for 2027 was lifted by 0.7% and that for 2028 was nudged 0.1% lower as it took into account a higher effective tax rate. EPS and gross profit projections for all three years were also revised. "Whilst near term momentum remains subdued, we still believe that luxury is a structural growth industry (albeit at a lower pace than pre Covid). LVMH is one of the best brand builders in the world, with a strong stable of assets. On our PO LVMH would trade at 22.5x 2027 P/E, which is the mid point of its historical valuation, which has been between 20-25x since 2017 (ex-Covid)," BofA added. The stock's buy rating was reiterated.
