05:49 AM EDT, 10/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- UBS Global Research expects Haleon (HLN.L) to tighten its full-year 2026 organic sales growth guidance when the British consumer healthcare company releases its third-quarter trading statement on Oct. 29. For the third quarter, the research firm anticipates Haleon's organic sales to grow 3.1% to 2.92 billion pounds sterling amid higher pricing and a slowdown in volumes, according to an earnings preview note focused on the European food and home personal care sectors. The projected growth is in line with the prior quarter but lower than the Visible Alpha consensus of 3.4%. "[Our] 9M OSG forecast of 2.8% signals that Haleon's OSG will have to be over the 4% mark in Q4 for the company to reach the bottom-end of its FY26 OSG guidance of 3-5%; said differently, achieving 3%+ OSG in FY26 is now predicated on a slightly stronger Cough & Cold season in Europe/ North America vs. last year's abnormally low incidence," analysts wrote. "Owing to the limited visibility on this year's season, we would therefore expect the company to err on the side of caution and thus adjust its FY26 OSG guide from 3-5% to 'around 3%' (Cough & Cold having a +/- 50bps impact on FY26 OSG)." As such, UBS reduced its organic sales growth forecast for 2026 to 3.1% from 3.4% while leaving its adjusted EPS estimate unchanged, noting that Haleon's bottom-line momentum continues to show strength. The research firm has a buy rating on the stock.
