03:13 AM EDT, 10/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- TotalEnergies (TTE.PA, TTE.L) and investment company KKR agreed to add a 700-megawatt portfolio of three utility-scale solar assets in Texas and Ohio to their equally owned joint venture based in the US. The deal values the portfolio at an enterprise value of $1.2 billion and is expected to be closed in 2026, subject to customary conditions, according to a Monday filing. The assets are expected to commence commercial operations by the first quarter of 2027, with the French energy company to continue operating the assets after the deal's completion. TotalEnergies and KKR established the JV in 2025 with a current capacity of 1.4 gigawatts.
