UK Panel Approves Deadline Extension for SThree's Takeover Offer by Circle8 Group

01:00 AM EDT, 10/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK Panel on Takeovers and Mergers approved an extension to the put-up-or-shut-up deadline for SThree's (STEM.L) takeover offer by US-based talent management services company Circle8 Group. The recruitment company said that the extension was requested following the revision of the all-cash offer, which now requires completion of certain customary pre-conditions. The initial deadline was set to expire on Wednesday, according to a same-day release. SThree added that Circle8 has now until Oct. 21 to declare a firm intention to make an offer or walk away.
