Wallenius Wilhelmsen Mulls Private Placement of New Shares

11:20 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Wallenius Wilhelmsen (WAWI.OL) is considering a private placement of new shares to fully fund its total newbuild program and for general corporate needs. The shipping and logistics group said Tuesday the private placement is expected to raise gross proceeds of the Norwegian kroner equivalent of $300 million. The accelerated bookbuilding process runs from Tuesday through Wednesday, with the subscription price and the number of shares to be determined based on the outcome.
