Fim-Cisl Union Cuts Stellantis' Italian Output Forecast for 2026

10:17 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The Fim-Cisl trade union expects Stellantis (STLAM.MI, STLAP.PA) to build fewer vehicles in Italy in 2026 than previously forecast, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing a statement. Ferdinando Uliano, the union's secretary general, said output will likely reach 450,000 cars and light commercial vehicles, down from the union's earlier forecast of 500,000 units, as production stops at the carmaker's Mirafiori, Italy, plant weigh on volumes. Stellantis did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
