Yemen's Houthis issued a statement on October 6, local time, saying they fired ballistic missiles at Saudi Abha International Airport and used multiple ballistic missiles to attack the military camp in Dagaril in Saudi Jizan province. The Houthis claimed that the missile attack on Abha International Airport had a “direct hit”, causing the airport's air transport activities to be affected. The Houthis also claimed that dozens of people were killed and injured as a result of the attack on the military camp in Dagaril. The Houthis also warned foreign airlines, saying that Saudi airspace has become an area of military operation, and asked the airlines to stop operating flights to Saudi Arabia, except over Mecca and Medina.
