05:09 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Berenberg reiterated its buy rating for Sika (SIKA.SW) as analysts took note of the progress in the specialty chemicals company's Fast Forward program following its investor day in Düdingen, Switzerland. "Beyond the near-term numbers, the Investor Day increased our confidence in the medium-term earnings trajectory - the company's Fast Forward programme is delivering, innovation remains a tangible source of growth and margin improvement, and we believe Sika has considerable self-help potential, even without a meaningful improvement in construction markets," according to a note published Tuesday. Analysts said Sika remains on track to record 80 million francs of benefits in 2026, and 80 million francs to 110 million francs in 2027. By 2028, annual benefits are projected at 70 million francs to 90 million francs. "While 2026 is primarily characterised by restructuring and footprint measures for the company, digitalisation should increasingly contribute from 2027/28," the research firm added. Against this backdrop, Berenberg raised its net earnings estimates for 2026 to 2028 by 2%, mainly due to the "stronger" momentum in Europe, the Middle East and Africa region. For the third quarter of 2026 alone, analysts forecast organic growth of 4.2%, a gross profit margin of 55.1%, and an EBITDA margin of 19.2%. The stock's price target was also raised to 240 francs from 233 francs.
