According to information disclosed by the Texas Attorney General of the United States, Oracle's medical business unit had a cybersecurity leak last year, and the personal information of nearly 20 million people was leaked. The Texas Attorney General said in a report released that the company revealed that the hacking attack stole social security numbers, addresses, and medical information of nearly 20 million people, including about 3 million Texas residents. Oracle notified some customers of the cyber attack in March 2025, saying that the attack occurred sometime after January 22, but the Texas-based company did not disclose the number of affected patients' electronic health records at the time. Oracle declined to comment on this disclosure on Monday, and the Texas Attorney General's Office did not respond to requests for comment.
