05:13 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sweden-listed pharmaceutical company AcuCort (ACUC.ST) plans to raise equity to fund its efforts to secure the US Food and Drug Administration's approval for its allergic reactions drug Zeqmelit. AcuCort said Monday its board approved a planned rights issue of up to 78,148,177 units, consisting of up to 234,444,531 shares and up to 156,296,354 warrants of series TO 3, with pre-emptive rights for existing shareholders. The fundraising remains subject to shareholder approval at an extraordinary general meeting on Nov. 5. The subscription price was set at 0.90 krona per unit, or 0.30 krona per share. The company expects to raise 70.3 million kronor from the rights issue, and an additional 93.8 million kronor through the attached TO 3 warrants. Proceeds will also enhance the company's financial position, ensuring sufficient funding for the execution of its commercial and strategic priorities, with the long-term objective of achieving positive cash flow by the end of 2028.
