On October 5, Deutsche Telekom said that compared to 2023, the company expects AI and automation to generate total cost savings of about 1.1 billion euros outside the US by 2027; it is expected to save about 2.5 billion euros in indirect costs by 2030. Meanwhile, the company plans to invest part of the additional savings in 2027 into Germany's digital infrastructure and fiber optic networks. Furthermore, Deutsche Telekom also plans to increase AI-related revenue from the business of companies outside the US to around 800 million euros by 2030.
