12:37 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- India's Food Safety and Standards Authority found Nestlé's (NESN.SW) low-fat dairy whitener to be "unsafe" and "substandard" after collecting a sample from Bharat Hotels' The Lalit property in New Delhi. Laboratory analysis showed the sample was non-compliant with food safety regulations, and authorities directed the hotel to stop selling the product immediately, according to an Oct. 3 notice the regulator posted on X, formerly Twitter. Nestlé and the Food Safety and Standards Authority did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
