Wheat Trading Mixed at Midday

The wheat complex is showing mixed Friday trade, with the spring wheat market holding higher. Chicago SRW contracts are fractionally lower on the session. KC HRW futures are trading with 3 to 4 cent losses at midday. MPLS spring wheat is showing contracts fractionally to 1 ½ cents higher.

USDA’s Export Sales report from Thursday took total wheat export sales to 9.737 MMT, which is 31% below the same time last year. That is also 46% of the USDA projected export total and lags the 56% average pace. 

Ukrainian wheat areas could drop 17% for 2027 due to the back up in supplies according to the country’s ag minister.

Dec 26 CBOT Wheat  is at $6.82 1/2, down 1/4 cent,

Mar 27 CBOT Wheat  is at $6.96 1/2, down 1/2 cent,

Dec 26 KCBT Wheat  is at $7.33 3/4, down 3 3/4 cents,

Mar 27 KCBT Wheat  is at $7.47, down 4 cents,

Dec 26 MIAX Wheat  is at $6.98, up 1 1/4 cents,

Mar 27 MIAX Wheat  is at $7.18 1/2, up 1/2 cent,
