Germany's Henkel Wraps Up EUR2.1 Billion Purchase of Netherlands-based Stahl Group

12:28 AM EDT, 10/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- German chemicals company Henkel (HEN.F) finalized its purchase of Stahl Group, a Dutch manufacturer of specialty coatings for flexible materials, at an enterprise value of 2.1 billion euros from Wendel (MF.PA). The closing of the deal followed the satisfaction of all closing conditions, including receipt of required regulatory approvals, according to a Thursday release. The acquisition is expected to boost Henkel's adhesive technologies business. In a separate same-day release, Wendel said it generated total net proceeds of 1.14 billion euros from the deal.
