11:10 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The European Central Bank made changes to its rules governing monetary policy in the Eurosystem, with amendments set to take effect Nov. 30. The revised guidelines include an update to the haircut schedule applied to certain assets and the use of second-best rating issued by external credit assessment companies in evaluating the eligibility of private sector assets for collateral, among other things, according to a Tuesday release. The changes are part of the ECB's regular review of the guidelines.
