Ryanair CEO Expects On-time Boeing Deliveries Amid Certification Delay

In an interview cited by the news agency, Chief Executive Officer Michael O'Leary said Ryanair is unaware of the full extent of the issue but does not anticipate a "substantial delay." He added that the additional planes will grow the Irish budget airline's capacity by 2% or 3%. The US Federal Aviation Administration deferred the certification of the 737 Max variant after a software glitch with the aircraft's navigation system raised potential flight safety concerns, according to the report.
