04:59 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Infineon Technologies (IFX.F) is partnering with intelligent power management company Eaton to advance solid-state transformer technology for artificial intelligence data centers, according to a Tuesday release. The German semiconductor maker will supply silicon carbide power devices for Eaton's medium-voltage solid-state transformer 2.0 platform, helping enhance its efficiency, power density and reliability. The collaboration will improve the power conversion required to connect AI data centers to the grid, targeting 800-volts direct current architectures, as well as explore next-generation platforms based on 2.3-kilovolt and 3.3-kv modules.
