According to information, construction of the second phase of the Hainan commercial space launch site project began on January 25, 2025, covering a total area of more than 1,100 acres. The construction of the main project took only 612 days to successfully complete. With the gradual completion of the Phase II project, the monitoring and control system, and the offshore recycling system, the Hainan commercial space launch site will have a comprehensive launch capacity of more than 60 times a year, forming a closed loop of “launch-measurement-control-recycling” capabilities.
