The two studies were the study of Slulizumab combined with chemoradiotherapy for new adjuvant treatment of PMMR type high-risk locally advanced colon cancer (LACC) (TORCH-C), which was co-initiated by Professor Cai Sanjun and Professor Zhang Zhen of the Cancer Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, which explored innovative new adjuvant treatment models; and the study of sululizumab combined with chemoradiotherapy for unresectable advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), which was jointly initiated by Professor Fu Xiaolong and Professor Yu Wen of Shanghai Chest Hospital, added treatment options for advanced unresectable esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). H drug was further demonstrated Clinical value and therapeutic potential in this field.
The TORCH-C study presented at the ASTRO conference is a randomized phase II clinical trial. The efficacy and safety of novel adjuvant short course radiotherapy combined with CAPOX and slulizumab were evaluated for MSS/PMMR high-risk locally advanced colon cancer. The results showed that the PCR rate in the immunization combined with short course radiotherapy and chemotherapy group reached 45.3%, which was more than 4 times higher than that of the simple chemotherapy group (10%), providing a new treatment option for high-risk LACC patients. Previously, the study data was presented at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting.
