EU Clears Société Générale's Purchase of Joint Ownership Stake in German Fiber JV

The regulator concluded that the deal, which mainly covers fiber-to-the-home access infrastructure, would not raise competition concerns, according to a Monday release. London-listed telecommunications giant Vodafone Group (VOD.L) announced the deal for the Germany-based fiber joint venture on Sept. 1.
