Sunshine Novo (688621.SH): Phase I clinical trial of STC008 injection to treat tumor cachexia in advanced solid tumors achieved the expected goals

Recently, the Phase I clinical trial of the STC008 injection (project code “STC008”) independently developed by Chengdu Nuohe Shengtai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Novo”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, to treat tumor cachexia in advanced solid tumors reached the expected goals.

STC008 is a new chemical class 1 polypeptide drug independently developed by Novo Shengtai to treat tumor cachexia based on the ICvetide® platform. By activating GHSR and initiating downstream signal transmission, it ultimately achieves curative effects in improving weight loss and anorexia in patients with tumor cachexia. It is intended to treat tumor cachexia in advanced solid tumors such as non-small cell lung cancer, gastric cancer, pancreatic cancer, and colorectal cancer.
