The average number of visitors on National Day Golden Sunday is expected to surpass last year's 143,000 visitors. Currently, the overall hotel reservation situation in Macau is ideal. The hotel reservation rate in the new port area is about 80%.

Zhang Jianzhong said that room prices have increased during the peak season, but the range is reasonable. It is estimated that the number of reservations will continue to rise. The overall occupancy rate may be over 90%. October 1 to 5 ushered in a peak period, and the occupancy rate of some hotels may be close to 100%.

In an interview, Macau Tourism Director Man Yee-wah said that the Mid-Autumn Festival guest conditions are ideal. It is hoped that the effect will continue until the “Eleventh” National Day holiday. The authorities have deployed multiple measures to welcome visitors, hoping to reach the target of 150,000 visitors per day. The Mid-Autumn Festival holiday market performed well. There were about 140,000 inbound visitors on the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival and more than 170,000 the day after the Mid-Autumn Festival. Good weather encouraged travelers to travel.
