NeoTerra Seeks Grant to Assess Potential Expansion of Monte Muambe Fluorspar Project in Mozambique

04:54 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- NeoTerra Group (TERA.L) submitted an application for a $5 million grant to assess a potential expansion of the size and scope of the Monte Muambe fluorspar project in Mozambique. The critical minerals exploration and development company said Monday the application, filed under the US-Africa Strategic Investment Program, would fund drilling aimed at increasing the project's contained mineral resource to 4 million tonnes of calcium fluoride from 716,000 tonnes. NeoTerra is also progressing the development of a 50,000-tonne-per-annum fluorspar mining operation at Monte Muambe.
