Shanghai Pharmaceutical (601607.SH): Paclitaxel injection approved for production

Zhitong Finance App News, Shanghai Pharmaceutical (601607.SH) announced that Shanghai Jinhe Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shanghai Jinhe Biopharmaceutical”), a subsidiary of the company, has received the “Drug Registration Certificate” (certificate number: 2026S03433) issued by the State Drug Administration (hereinafter referred to as the “State Drug Administration”) for paclitaxel injections (hereinafter referred to as “this drug”), and the drug has been approved for production.

Paclitaxel injections are suitable for: 1. First-line and follow-up treatment for advanced ovarian cancer; 2. Adjuvant treatment for breast cancer patients with positive lymph nodes after combined chemotherapy with doxorubicin; 3. Breast cancer patients who fail combined chemotherapy with metastatic breast cancer or who have recurred within 6 months of adjuvant chemotherapy; 4. First-line treatment for patients with non-small cell lung cancer; 5. Second-line treatment for AIDS (AIDS) -related Kaposi sarcoma (KaposI'sSarcoma). Paclitaxel injections were developed by Bristol-Myerssquibbs.r.l., and approved for marketing by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in December 1992.
