11:03 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Icop (ICOP.MI) is considering revising the terms of its takeover offer for engineering company Trevi - Finanziaria Industriale (TFIN.MI) to gain an advantage over its rival bidder Webuild (WBD.MI), Bloomberg News reported Friday. In an interview with the news agency, Icop Chief Executive Officer Piero Petrucco noted the acquisition's "strong potential of value accretion," adding that the construction and engineering group represents a "better opportunity" for Trevi. Icop offered 0.133 new share for each Trevi share held, while Webuild proposed 4.50 euros for each Trevi share. The offers value Trevi at 264 million euros and 295 million euros, respectively, based on Bloomberg's computations. Trevi's board has since rejected both offers.
