Cornerstone Pharmaceutical-B (02616) was added by CEO and Executive Director Yang Jian to hold a total of 496,000 shares

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Cornerstone Pharmaceutical-B (02616) announced that the company was informed by Yang Jianxin (Dr. Yang) that it used personal funds to purchase a total of 496,000 shares (share purchases) on the open market from September 17 to 22, 2026, at a total cost of over HK$2.7 million.

The board of directors of the company believes that the share purchase fully reflects Dr. Yang's long-term commitment to the company and firm confidence in the company's future business prospects. Since becoming CEO in August 2022, Dr. Yang has purchased a total of 14.21,500 shares on the open market. Following the share purchase, Dr. Yang held a total of approximately 5.31% of the total issued share capital of the Company as at the date of this announcement.

The latest clinical data of the company's core asset CS2009 (PD-1/VEGF/CTLA-4 three-specific antibody) will be disclosed in the form of two quick oral reports at the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) annual meeting to be held in October 2026. Dr. Yang said he is confident in the company's long-term investment value and core competitive advantage. Dr. Yeung does not rule out the possibility of further increasing the Company's shares in due course.
