Taienkang (301263.SZ) subsidiary CKBA cream for rosacea indications obtained preliminary analysis results from a phase IIa clinical trial study

Recently, the Phase IIa clinical trial of the Class 1 innovative drug CKBA cream developed independently by Jiangsu Bochuangyuan Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd., the holding subsidiary of the company, has recently completed data compilation. Preliminary analysis results showed that 1.50% CKBA cream was effective and safe in treating moderate to severe papular pustular rosacea. The proportion of subjects with an overall evaluation (IGA) score of 0 or 1 after 16 weeks of treatment was 60.00% (9/15), and the inflammatory skin damage count (ILC) decreased by 39.06 compared to the baseline, a decrease of 76.40%.

According to reports, this phase IIa clinical trial showed good short-term efficacy, long-term treatment potential, and excellent safety when the ILC and IgA baselines of enrolled subjects were high, including the severe patient subgroup, which provided a strong basis for the smooth progress of subsequent phase IIb/III clinical trials. Based on positive and effective preliminary data from phase IIa in the early stages, the company has initiated phase IIb clinical trials ahead of schedule, and completed the enrollment of the first case in early September 2026. Subsequent companies will further accelerate phase IIb/III clinical trials.
