According to the Ministry of Transport, the International Green Shipping Corridor Alliance was formally established during the Global Sustainable Transport Summit. The International Green Shipping Corridor Alliance was jointly initiated by the China International Sustainable Transportation Innovation and Knowledge Center in conjunction with COSCO SHIPPING Group, France's Dafei Group, China Energy Construction Group, and Shanghai Port Group. It is the world's first non-governmental international organization based on international green shipping corridor cooperation. Currently, the founding members of the alliance cover 45 leading companies from 12 countries. The business scope covers the upstream and downstream of the green shipping industry chain, and the characteristics of diversification and internationalization are obvious. In the future, the alliance will promote cooperation in the construction of international green shipping corridors in an integrated manner, promote the integration of domestic rules such as green ships, green fuels, and green ports with international standards, accelerate the construction of an international certification system for green marine fuels, coordinate the implementation of transportation facilitation measures, create internationally influential demonstration projects, and carry out technology research and development, transformation of achievements and capacity building, and become a new platform for promoting innovation and transformation in the international shipping industry.
