On laid out its financial plan and global product strategy through 2029 at today's Investor Day event. One top takeaway was management's commitment to maintain On's leading profitability in the sector. Specifically, the company plans to maintain a gross profit margin of at least 65% through 2029. That shows investors it has confidence in the power of its premium brand and ability to hold pricing against strong competition. For comparison, global giant Nike's most recent annual gross profit margin is about 43%.
On reiterated its full-year 2026 guidance, expecting net sales growth of over 20% on a constant currency basis. The company didn't stop there. It also announced plans to repurchase up to $1 billion in shares through 2029.
The company is expanding its presence in the global footwear market. It recently announced plans to enter the soccer market, naming French soccer star and World Cup fan favorite Kylian Mbappé as its global ambassador.
On has been successful in running and tennis, and it's likely to carry that success into soccer. It's never easy to call a bottom in a stock, but investors might be on target jumping into On Holding stock today.
