Glenstone REIT Secures Over 67% Acceptance for Alternative Income REIT Takeover Offer

02:59 AM EDT, 09/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Glenstone REIT said Tuesday that its increased final recommended cash offer for Alternative Income REIT (AIRE.L) received valid acceptances for 67.18% of the latter's issued shares, or 54,087,186 shares. The offer, increased to 0.70 pound sterling in cash per Alternative Income REIT share, became unconditional on Sept. 9, prompting Alternative Income REIT's board to recommend that shareholders accept it. The offer remains open for acceptance until further notice. Glenstone said it will give 14 days' notice before closing the offer.
