Rentokil Initial to Sell US Lake Management Unit in $230 Million Deal

02:44 AM EDT, 09/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Rentokil Initial (RTO.L) agreed to sell its US-based lake and pond management subsidiary, SOLitude Lake Management, to Bain Capital. The transaction is valued at $230 million on a cash- and debt-free basis, with the pest control company to receive total estimated net cash proceeds after tax of $180 million, according to a Tuesday filing. The deal is set to close early in the fourth quarter, subject to Hart-Scott-Rodino clearance.
