Smiths Group Posts Higher FY26 Profit, Revenue

02:26 AM EDT, 09/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Smiths Group (SMIN.L) said Tuesday that attributable profit and revenue for fiscal 2026 increased year over year. Profit for the 12 months ended July 31 was 1.97 billion pounds sterling, compared with 292 million pounds earlier. EPS moved to 6.262 pounds from 0.853 pound. The industrial engineering company's revenue was 1.94 billion pounds, compared with 1.90 billion pounds a year ago. Meanwhile, the board recommended a final dividend of 0.335 pound per share for the second fiscal half, compared with 0.3177 pound per share from the year-ago period, payable Nov. 23 to shareholders on record Oct. 16. This takes the fiscal full-year dividend to 0.485 pound per share, compared with 0.460 pound per share in the previous fiscal year. For fiscal 2027, the group expects a 4% growth in organic revenue.
